Titan Fast Pitch Competition

Our second Titan Fast Pitch Competition was a huge success. We had dozens of university and high school students competing at this event and there were a ton of great ideas being presented. Congratulations are in order to everyone who competed and a big “thank you” to everyone who was involved in planning and executing this event. What follows is more or less an info sheet of what happened at the Titan Fast Pitch with video and pictures at the end.

For those of you who were unable to attend the competition proceeded thusly:

University students were put in the university track and high school students were placed in the high school track

Each competitor was given 60 seconds to make their pitch for their business

Once each presentation was completed, the judges caucused to decide who were the top five from each track who would advance to the Lightning Round

During the Lightning Round, each finalist was asked a series of questions about their business and the competitors answered them to the best of their abilities

After the Lightning Round concluded the judges caucused again and the crowd partook in an opportunity drawing that included prizes such as headphones and books about entrepreneurship

With the conclusion of the opportunity drawing the judges delivered their verdict to the hosts, John Bradley Jackson and William Cosmo, and the winners were announced

The judges were:

  • Dan Black
  • William Taormina
  • Suzanne DeRossett
  • Vas Arora
  • Geneva Acholonu

The Sponsors for this competition were:

For the university track, the top three finishers were:
