Rules: 90 Second Video Pitch*
The following rules apply to the first round of the Titan Fast Pitch competition, which requires you to record and submit a video of your startup pitch. Students selected to advance to the finals will present in person. Final round guidelines will be shared with those students upon notification of their selection.
- Recording Guidelines
- You may record your pitch multiple times to perfect your delivery but submit only one video (your best one).
- Deliver your pitch as if you’re presenting in person, be clear, confident, and authentic.
- Presentation Style & Restrictions
- Not allowed:
- PowerPoint slides
- Poster boards
- Whiteboards
- Screengrabs or screen recordings
- CGI, music, or special effects
- Your video must be one continuous take, no editing permitted.
- Be mindful of background noise and avoid using virtual filters or digital backgrounds.

- Video Requirements
- Maximum length: 90 seconds (videos over 90 seconds will be disqualified).
- Upload the video to YouTube and set it to:
- Public or
- Unlisted
- DO NOT set it as Private
- Prop & Prototypes
- You may use handheld or wearable props and prototypes.
- Props are encouraged if they support your pitch but should not distract.

- University (undergraduate, graduate, community college, master’s/PhD)
- High school
- Middle school
- Finalists must provide a valid student ID or other proof of enrollment.
